"Happiness" - Original Poetry By Me

A summer breeze has lifted me,
And blown right through my soul,
A lightness fills my body,
As I climb out of my hole.

Can it be dark days are over?
Can it be they're out of sight?
Can it be I'm no longer surrounded,
By artificial light?

It has been a rollercoaster,
And I've been screaming to get off,
Losing faith within myself,
I was the flame that burns the moth.

But something good has happened,
I've been sent a gift of love,
And I know that my Mum sent it,
From her home there up above.

So I continue walking,
I no longer feel a mess,
My heart is singing the joy of life,
And it's full of happiness.

Thank you Maggie!
I am feeling much better and a new door has already opened for me, something wonderful. Of course there are still days when I feel down but not like before.
Now all I need to do is move and get away from this old life, which hopefully will be very soon now... XX

Oh how I love your poetry. Just wonderful. I am gladdened by your uplifting post. I hope it is new love and friendhsip for you, for nothing lifts the heart and spirit quite so well as a brand new love.

And of course your mother is your guiding hand. How fortunate you are that you are still so closely linked through the ether. Hugs, and fingers crossed for your future. X
