Past times are gone,
With bright days ahead,
How far that I've come,
T'was my angel that led.
I banish the sadness,
Let happiness flow,
But I love you and miss you,
More than you know.
Now laughter's my friend,
Casting demons aside,
I ran from the terror,
But no longer I hide.
I sit in the sunshine,
I dive in the sea,
I run on the pavements,
I'm happy and free.
No more will I cry,
No more trouble or strife,
I'm smiling and travelling,
At the speed of my life.

I have many poems written already and also have a whole book's worth of the poems that I wrote when I was going through the bereavement of my Mum...
I have been sending some samples off to publishers but so far now luck... but I'll keep trying, the difficult thing is finding the addresses of publishers who deal in poetry...
