"Mum" - Original Poetry By me

“Mum”

Your laughter's ringing in my ears,
Your smile's etched on my face,
Your Loving ways are in my heart,
But you've left a hollow space.

I ran back home to find you,
But you'd just walked out the door,
I climbed the stairs to search for you,
Then my heart fell to the floor.

They told me, but it can't be true,
It must all be a wicked game,
At night and day my tears don't stop,
I'm screaming out your name.

Oh Mum, why did you have to go?
You wasn't supposed to yet,
I had so much more to show you,
You'd be proud of me, I bet.

I ran into the garden, Mum,
Saw your smile on a peaceful dove,
You left the house full of everything,
But, Mum, it's mostly Love.

It's a beatiful poetry for your mom Donnie! I'm shure your mom is very proud of you wherever she is now.
I imagine how painful must be loose someone that we love, specially your mom. Don't cry or be sad. When you think of her always think all the good things she did and all the great time you too had togheter!
Abraços Irmao! :)

Hi Leo!
Thanks so much for your very kind words!!
I was very sad for many years and it is the hardest thing I have ever had to face in my life as we were so very close, but now even though it's very sad that I will never see her again, or get to have our wonderful chats and hear her advice, I smile when I think of her as she was so wonderful, loving and supportive! and I know that she is still always with me and still giving me her advice and guiding me through my life along the correct roads...

Deixo aqui meu respeito e solidariedade! Abraço, Sergio
