Heath Ledger 1979-2008
I can't let today go by without posting a tribute to the wonderful Australian actor who died last night at the age of only 28 years old.
He was found in his apartment in New York surrounded by pills, in what is believed to have been an overdose.
This is such sad and shocking news :( such a terrible loss of a wonderful talent and a young man that was on the road to huge success and considered one of the prime actor's of his generation.
He was known for films such as "The Patriot", "10 Things I Hate About You", "A Knight's Tale", "Monster's Ball", "Casanova" and "Brokeback Mountain" in which he played the gay cowboy Ennis Del Mar and was nominated for an Oscar for his role.
He recently completed "Batman: The Dark Knight" in which he played The Joker, the film is due to be released in July 2008.
This is such sad, sad news and a terrible loss for his family, his fans, the film industry and the world, it was such a shock to hear this news, I was and still am a big fan.

Just a small tribute to a great actor that died too young and who always seemed so genuine and down to earth in all his interviews.
